Polish Egyptian Business Forum

On December 12, 2024, the Egyptian-Polish Businessmen Association (EPBA) and the Polish Chamber of Commerce signed a cooperation agreement in Warsaw, under the auspices of Egypt’s Minister of Planning, Economic Development, and International Cooperation, Rania Al-Mashat. 

Key Points:

  • Objective: The agreement aims to enhance commercial and economic cooperation, expand trade relations, and facilitate the signing of commercial and economic agreements between companies from both countries. 
  • Support for Investors: It provides necessary data for investors wishing to invest in either country, including legal regulations and exemptions to support economic activities. 
  • Forum Participation: The signing took place during the Egyptian-Polish Business Forum, attended by about 40 investors from both countries, along with representatives from the EPBA, the General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone, and other government and private sector entities. 
  • Strategic Sectors: The forum highlighted cooperation in sectors such as food, poultry, IT and telecommunications, paper manufacturing, renewable energy, industrial development, engineering industries, and the medical field. 
  • Government Vision: Minister Al-Mashat emphasized the Egyptian government’s commitment to empowering the private sector, building a competitive economy, and attracting investments, aligning with the country’s sustainable development goals. 

This agreement marks a significant step in strengthening economic ties between Egypt and Poland, fostering mutual growth and prosperity.
