EPBA Chairman Medhat El-Kaisy Awarded Poland’s “Bene Merito” Honor for Strengthening Bilateral Relations
On December 2, 2015, in a formal ceremony at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Cairo, Mr. Medhat El-Kaisy, Chairman of the Egyptian-Polish Business Association (EPBA), was awarded the Bene Merito honorary distinction by the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
This prestigious recognition, established in 2009, is granted to individuals who have demonstrated outstanding commitment to promoting Poland abroad. Mr. El-Kaisy received the medal “in recognition of his efforts to strengthen and enhance Poland’s image on the international stage.”
For many years, Mr. El-Kaisy has served as a tireless advocate for Polish-Egyptian cooperation—particularly in trade, investment, and cultural exchange. Under his leadership, EPBA has facilitated numerous high-level business missions to Poland, coordinated economic forums, and consistently supported initiatives benefiting the Polish community in Egypt.
During the ceremony, Polish Ambassador H.E. Michał Murkociński praised Mr. El-Kaisy’s visionary leadership and ongoing efforts to build a robust bridge between our two nations. He emphasized the importance of the EPBA’s role in fostering long-term partnerships and mutual understanding.
At EPBA, we view this honor not only as a personal achievement for Mr. El-Kaisy, but as a testament to the strategic importance of Egyptian-Polish relations and the power of business diplomacy. It underscores what we have always believed: that economic cooperation, pursued with integrity and persistence, is one of the most effective tools for building meaningful international alliances.
We remain committed to advancing this mission—with ambition, innovation, and a clear focus on real impact.
